In Jedi classification, there are Guardians who focus on martial training and combat, like Anakins, Obi-Wan and Mace Windu (who arguably one of the most power Jedi Guardian). Then there are Senteniels who possess good combat skill and some knowldge about the Force. The last one are Consulars, like Yoda and Liea, who don't usually fight, they are scholars and diplomates. There are ranks too, from Youngling, Padawan, Knight and Council Members.
