Sometimes, despite everyone's best efforts, minor mistakes appear in nonfiction books

I am really disappointed by this statement from the publisher. The subtitle of the book is "A life in two worlds". It is not minor when accounts on one world were mostly fabricated. Should we start a petition to boycott Penguin publishing?
