dont confuse us with excess death, covid death, death rate, just put 2000 total death in each nation as 100%, draw that damn and so easily available graph!

one dont need good education to predict 2020 number if 20 data of 2000-2019 available. WHO! show that graph!

from my reading of news, japan and NZ are the 2 only oecd nations reporting fewer total death in 2020 than 2019. if that's unexpected (again give us that damn graph), and from all news we read these two nation economies preformed more or less similarly to other oecd nations, comparing 2020 to 2019.

answer now should be simple, unless more info, covid response co-champions in 2020 were most likely japan and NZ.

from all news i read, compared to 3 neighbors , which is the only fair way as these 4 nations are very similar, all highly respected, almost always in top10 no matter what civilization index used (forget iceland , 300 kmaybe too small population), sweden had significantly more deaths. again we need that simple graph. economy all similarly affected. HR? at least i didn't see significantly more complaints in neighbors.
