recent football scandal is another example, how come same things happen again and again, another FA head arrested? another wave of arrests. but corruptions will continue as long as money still pour in. people will just stay low for a short while until attentions turned away.

hopefully no rich people interested in football anymore, that can only be good for chinese football actually.

and that tragedy of student hu? why took so long to find? it's totally possible:

the body location was under control of an SOE, which usually don't care about local authorities at all and are reluctant to be disturbed. i guess every time the place searched, it was done with great impatience " i told you no such person here... we are crucial national entities, national secrets here your local people get out ASAP..." most likely the employees there enjoy light duty work and play with cell phones a lot...

go back to your topic, censorship officials are not that alert at all, as long as immediate supervisors are ok they are satisficed with half ass working ethics.

now suppose you are an online celerity, you report on media how come those toxic materials still on market and harming chinese people? once it reaches certain hotness, bingo, you will get those books out of market!

public service is always low quality low effort, it's human nature.
