...those who are comparing craftsmanship with technology are missing the whole point. Ancient people may have a lot more time on their hands for a much better craftsmanship. However, when you have accelerometers capable of measuring precise magnitude of motion in three spatial directions, why would anyone in their right mind want to replicate a 地动仪, unless you are in the museum business?
