i do trust AI, provided all drvien by AI. but we can not abolish the driving rights from people. you cna tax, suspend, restrict, but guess there always be some young, drunken or impatient/aggressive ones there, will AI deal better with them?

i envision a future relying on mostly public AI transportation. private vehicles will be extremely expensive or need lots of credits (say, significant contribution to society). anyway, environment and traffic jam , not even mentioning safety, dictate a future based on public solution.
